Elyzabyth writes, “This is my fourth order of Ultra Color Lipstick. I’ve tried several different colors and I love them all. The lipstick goes on smooth, doesn’t clump or feather. It’s moisturizes my lips and stays on (when I don’t chew or lick it off LOL). I love to blend the lighter and darker colors together. It’s a great lipstick.”
The Silver Fox shares, “I do like the creaminess of this lipstick. I didn’t see where it lasts all that long as described,though. I think I bought the wrong color. There is a deeper reddish/plum, more browned-out, color, older women wear that is just beautiful. I tried Hibiscus thinking it was more saturated and less “neon.” I’ll wear it but not out. I also tried Toasted Rose. That one is very pretty, but a bit light for my age. I have applied Toasted Rose over the Hibiscus. It’s difficult to choose a color from an online sample. I didn’t want a bright red. I like the brownish shades, but I didn’t want a raisin like color. Just difficult to choose the shade.”

It actually felt like it was moisturizing and it stayed all day throughout running errands and drinking beverages. I loved it so much that I got the pink one. Feels smooth on the lips. My only issue is that this has a strong floral fragrance to it and I can taste it the whole time I’m wearing it. I would definitely pick up more if it weren’t for the scent.”

Tyia mentions, “I have tried many lipsticks and Beyond Color is one of my favorites. I purchased the Cocoa in January and learned that the shade was discontinued when I needed to reorder. Avon recommends Ultra Color Lipstick in Iced Cocoa, which does not come in the satin finish I prefer, as a replacement. Thanks to reviewers I finally decided to try Beyond Color in Twig. It is the closest shade I have found to Cocoa so I ordered another tube in case Twig is discontinued. From reading reviews for Beyond Color, as well as other Avon lipsticks, it seems that well liked neutral shades such as Cocoa and Mocha (another personal favorite) are suddenly done away with. I think it would be wonderful if customers were given a simple warning, “This shade will no longer be available as of…,” several months before so we could stock up and not be left empty handed while we shop for another shade.”

Jo says, “I got this in Tempting Pink and the first thing I noticed was the color was not how it appeared online/in the brochure. In person it is deeper, more like a pinkish red, but the color is beautiful nonetheless. I love the texture of this stain. It’s super smooth, glossy, and lightweight. It applies evenly, with good color payoff, and leaves a nice even stain on the lips. It feels very moisturizing and soothing to the lips. It does have a floral fragrance to it that I’m not a huge fan of, but I love everything else about it so I can deal with the scent. I will definitely pick up another one of these.”
