Judy from Virginia – “I have used Vitamin C Brightening Serum for several years. I was worried when I found out the formula was being changed. I don’t see that much difference. The new formula isn’t quite as thick. I use it on my face before I apply Anew moisturizer. Unlike others that complained about it being oily, I find it soaks right in. I usually have a bit left over with 2 pumps (1 pump isn’t enough) so I rub my hands together and put it on my arms and the back of my hands and it soaks right in. I had an age spot on one of my arms & to my surprise, after using it for about 3 weeks, I realized the age spot was completely gone. I wasn’t positive that it was because of the serum, but that was the only change that I had made. Then I had another age spot appear on my hand last week & it disappeared after I rubbed a full drop on my hand twice. This made a believer out of me. The smell is a nice clean smell, not a loud smell like some people complained about.”

I originally purchased it when living in New England, given lack of sunshine over winter, but I found myself using it even when I moved to Southern California. I place 2 pumps daytime Anew moisturizer w/spf on my index finger, then add 1 healthy pump of Vitamin C serum to the moisturizer and mix with other index finger, and use on face, neck, and chest. I don’t use foundation. I wait 20-30 min or so until I arrive at work, then put my powder on, giving the serum and moisturizer time to “soak in”. No breakouts, and never even considered it to be oily until I read these reviews. Days when I accidentally use 2 pumps serum I almost always receive comments about how my skin is glowing. I will definitely keep this serum around!”

As another reviewer remarked, I also use this under my eyes before applying my foundation. I did not find this greasy at all. That is why I never buy or use serums because they are way too thick and/or greasy. I found that this absorbed well, you just need to give it a few minutes before applying either your moisturizer or make-up. A little bit goes a long way.
